Becky Robinson is President and Founder of Alley Cat Allies, the nation’s leading national cat advocacy organization. Becky holds an M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a B.A. in Social Work from Bethany College. She lives with her husband, Ed in Arlington, VA and she is one of the most influential and recognized authorities on cats. Her book, The Evolution of the Cat Revolution, documents 25 years of pioneering efforts to revolutionize the way cats are treated in the United States. She has also written many campaign materials and articles, including as a columnist for Huffington Post and CatChannel. Some of her campaigns have been featured on top media networks, ranging from NBC Nightly News and PBS to the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. A highly sought-after authority, Becky meets with groups and policymakers throughout the U.S. as well as in Europe, New Zealand and Australia. She is recognized as a passionate speaker for cats with a self-deprecating sense of humor that makes her an engaging and authoritative presenter.
